The City of Lamont will be jettying and televising the sewer mains during the month of May as part of a preventive maintenance plan.   Homeowners should keep toilet fixtures closed and cover floor drains during cleaning operations. This process could suck the traps dry so you will need to add water to every trap, fixture, and drain in your home.  If you smell sewer gas, you will need to run water through everything and that should eliminate the odor.  Any questions, please contact Public Works at (563) 924-2068.  Thank you
